Request deletion of your Saral account or data
This page explains how users of the Saral app can request deletion of their account and associated personal data, or request deletion of specific data without deleting their account.
Last updated: 12 May 2026
How to request account deletion
Email admin@getsaral.co.uk with the subject line "Saral account deletion request".
- Send the request from the email address linked to your Saral account, if possible.
- Include your full name, company name, and the mobile number or email used for your account.
- State whether you want to delete your full account or only specific personal data.
- We may ask for limited information to verify your identity before processing the request.
What happens when you request account deletion
- Account access to the Saral app
- Profile details and contact details that are not legally required to be retained
- Uploaded documents that are no longer required for legal or compliance purposes
- Attendance, notification, and device token data where no retention obligation applies
Once the request is verified, Saral will close your account and remove or anonymise personal data that we are not required to keep by law or for legitimate compliance purposes.
Data that may be kept
Some records cannot be deleted immediately because Saral must comply with UK tax, employment, immigration, fraud prevention, safety, and audit obligations.
We aim to respond within 30 days of receiving a verified request.
Request deletion of some data without deleting your account
You can also ask Saral to delete specific personal data without closing your account. Email admin@getsaral.co.uk with the subject line "Saral data deletion request" and describe the data you want removed.

- Emergency contact information that is no longer needed
- Non-mandatory uploaded documents
- Marketing or notification preferences, where applicable
If we are legally required to keep part of the requested data, we will explain what can be deleted, what must be retained, and for how long.
